FCL Scholarship
2026 FCL Scholarship
Each year, Florida Club Leagues is proud to offer scholarship awards to support graduating seniors in our soccer community as they pursue higher education. The FCL Scholarship recognizes not only athletic commitment, but also academic ambition, leadership, and service.
The FCL Scholarship is open to all graduating high school seniors who are active FCL members — including both registered athletes and referees.
Application Opens: February 15, 2026
Application Closes: April 15, 2026
Scholarships Awarded: Six total — three boys and three girls
Award Amount: $5,000 per recipient
Recipients Notified: Early May

2025 Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the FCL Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be a graduating high school senior
Be enrolled in a two- or four-year college degree program for the upcoming school year
Be a current FCL player or referee
Key Dates
March 7, 2025 – Application opens
April 7, 2025 – Application deadline
April 15, 2025 – Recipients announced
Selection Criteria
Scholarship recipients will be selected based on the following:
Dedication to soccer through participation as a player, referee, or coach’s assistant
Involvement in school, community service, and/or work experience
Demonstrated character and sportsmanship
Consideration of other available financial aid
Overall quality and thoughtfulness of the FCL Scholarship Application
Applicants must submit a completed FCL Scholarship Application by the April 7 deadline. All recipients will be officially announced on April 15, 2025.
