About National 1 League (N1)

US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer are proud to announce a new competition platform, beginning with the 2026-27 season, that serves as the top team-based league of both organizations. This new league, National 1 League (N1), brings together the National Premier Leagues (NPL) and National League, ushering in a new era of collaboration in the youth soccer ecosystem and serving 10,000 teams and more than 150,000 players.

Applications are now open!

Step 1 (Everyone)

ALL clubs interested in applying for National 1 (N1) must complete the form below.

Step 2 (Non-FCL Members Only)

Non-FCL members must also complete the Club Info Form below in order to be considered for National 1 (N1).

Parents & Families
The league benefits parents and families by reducing travel and providing clarity, as an initiative designed to stop the fracturing of the youth soccer landscape.
The eight conferences were constructed to align with planned U.S. Soccer talent ID models, and the integration with ECNL Regional League provides greater access to college coaches.

While N1 is the top team-based competition in US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer, high-performing clubs are eligible for promotion to the ECNL Regional League.
